Chapleton Dauphin.

Chapelton Dauphin bought at Perth Bull Sales recently set a new Shorthorn breed record for sale at auction. Purchased by Jane and Bill, Dauphin is by Chapelton Typhoon and is grand-sired by Tofts Romany, and he comes together with exceptional growth rate and muscle depth with calving ease.
Going under the hammer at United Auctions for 15,000gns Chapelton Dauphin was bought from owner Donald Biggar, and Jane commented that he was a good addition to the Cairnsmore herd. Jane says "I hope he will be a good investment, he carries himself well. The first expensive bull I bought I invested 11,000gns, and he was a record price back then, but his first sons sold for 5,500gns and 6,500gns so he paid for himself quickly."
